Wow!!!! What a wild way to end an exciting campaign! We made it over the $450k stretch goal with minutes to spare! Thank you for the incredible support!

All of the swag boxes will automatically receive a Shadow Market Founding Member sticker, and the stickers will be available as an add-on in the Backerkit survey for anyone else who'd like one.

Here's the design Jacque (@onthesamep8e) came up with! Each of the books is represented on the sigil and we love it!

 We're overwhelmed by the love you've shown this bonkers project and we're so eager to get everything into your hands. There are a few more steps you'll need to help us with so you can get your rewards.

Right now Kickstarter is processing all of the payments. Some of them take a little while to go through or run into an issue with the card on file. They'll let everyone know when their pledge has been collected or give you an opportunity to update your card if they weren't able to process it. That process takes two weeks, then they'll transfer everything over to us to allow us to run the survey.

As soon as we're able to (most likely around that two week mark, but earlier if we can), we'll be sending you a survey through Backerkit to the email address where you're receiving these updates. It's critical you complete that survey as soon as possible because we won't be able to get anything to you until it's completed.

The Backerkit survey is where you'll provide your mailing address if you're receiving physical rewards, and you'll be able to give us your email address if it's currently hidden by Apple Privacy Relay in Kickstarter. If for some reason Kickstarter was unable to process your payment, you'll have one more opportunity to complete the transaction through Backerkit. The survey will also give you a chance to include any last minute add-ons. Many of you asked about adding individual sets of art or the vellum if you were only getting the ebooks, and you'll be able to do that in the survey if you'd like.

We'll be ready to send the ebooks by the time the survey goes out, but we won't be able to get them to you until you complete the Backerkit survey! I'm going to risk being annoying to say it again just to be safe--you must complete your Backerkit survey to get your ebooks (and all of your other goodies!), so please don't procrastinate when it hits your inbox!

FINAL DAY BONUS DOUBLE STRETCH GOAL!

Surprise! We didn’t plan to do another stretch goal, but since the whole premise of the podcast is to celebrate daring choices, it feels wrong to just coast quietly over the finish line. Shall we be bold together??

We definitely won’t be able to pull this one off without your help because we have so little time, but maybe we can get there together! 

If we reach $450k, we’ll add a "Shadow Market Founding Member" sticker that will only be available to backers to commemorate the fact that you’ve all helped to bring this wild project to life.

Jacque Sewell (@onthesamep8e) is still hard at work on the design (that’s how you know we really didn’t plan on doing another stretch goal!), and we’ll be sharing it with you in the morning. She's designing it in the style of a sigil for the Shadow Market that has a symbol from each of the books!

The stickers will automatically be included in all of the swag boxes and will be available for all other backers to add on. You’ll be able to add it in the Backerkit survey after the campaign ends if you don’t get a chance to update it before the campaign ends, so don’t worry!

BUT

If we hit $500k, every single backer will receive the "Shadow Market Founding Member" sticker for free! AND we’ll surprise two lucky backers with a set of hardbacks with hand-sprayed edges! Nikki Sloane’s husband did these magnificent edges on a small number of her special editions, and he’ll do a custom design for two sets of Peculiar Tastes for two winners if we pull off this stretch goal! The winners will receive the prizes in addition to what they backed to receive, and all backers would be eligible to win!

Can you help us to get there? Can we hit half a million dollars together? (Doesn't that just sound bonkers to even be saying??) We’ll be doing as much as we can to spread the word, but you can help us by sharing the project on social media, tagging a friend in our posts, sharing in a Facebook group, or performing a ritual that hopefully includes the kind of debauchery that would make Sierra Simone’s fairy queen proud.

Bonus Epilogues UNLOCKED!

Y'all did it! With just around 48 hours left, we've unlocked the six bonus epilogues! These will be included in the Kickstarter ebooks! There will be a totally normal fairy tale wedding night that is definitely not a Sierra Simone special, merman goodness, a dicktopus reappearance, an orgy, and stone penises! 

We're almost there! Two more days left!

Week 3 Wrap Up!

We’re coming up on the final week of the campaign and all the art is revealed! This week, we pulled back the curtain to show you Volume 3, which will feature The Captive Merman’s Promise by Zoey Castile, and The Fae Queen’s Captive by Sierra Simone. Be sure to check out the covers!

In addition to that, we’ve also added the ability to have additional swag boxes as add-ons. These will automatically include the unlocked stretch goal items as well.

As a reminder, if you’ve signed up for Kickstarter using an Apple device and clicked to hide your email address, you will need to go into your account and edit that. Surveys and ebooks will both be sent to the email address Kickstarter has on file, and so if we don’t have a “real” one, then you won’t get your rewards! There’s been few people who aren’t able to change their address in the app, so we’re looking into solutions for this! It may be that we have to send a direct link to your survey when the time comes, so please keep an eye on these updates, as they will announce when we send surveys.

Announcing Stretch Goal #3!

We have a new stretch goal! At $400k, all of the authors will write a spicy bonus epilogue that will automatically be included in all of the Kickstarter edition ebooks (along with the map you already unlocked)! Need some more dicktopus in your life? Want to see a certain fae wedding night? Wonder what became of a certain stone “trophy” the gorgon assassin claimed? We can’t guarantee what’s in them yet, but the authors have agreed to rise to the challenge and give us some bonus bonkers HEA content to go along with the marvelous HEA art if we hit $400k!

We appreciate all of you for believing in us enough to back the project, and we’re grateful for every last post, comment, and like on social media that’s helping us to get the word out before the campaign is over! Thank you!!
